Wils Bormen is one of the NPCs from Ramsgate in Dauntless.
Biography
Younger brother of Gulaf Bormen, a wealthy merchant from a wealthier merchant family back in Ostia - a family that helped fund the founding of Ramsgate as a business opportunity. The family sent Wils to Ramsgate to run the most profitable part of the business, weaponsmithing. Wils is blatantly partisan towards Ostia, and frequently extolls the virtues and superiority of his home, but in an agreeable way.
Voluble and friendly to customers, but steely hard when it comes to negotiations and rivalries. His virtual monopoly of the weapons market gives him a lot of leverage and he is not afraid to use it, including making threats. Not above a little light organized crime, either.
