Investigate bizarre aspects of the imminent umbral escalation islands for Admiral Zai.

Admiral Janek Zai is ready to side with Seismic and Colonel Radomor against the Ostian Triumvirate, especially since the colonel's intel has revealed so much about a new and imminent threat to Ramsgate and all the Shattered Isles. A new escalation island chain is emerging from the Maelstrom's heart. The admiral will remain in Ramsgate to coordinate efforts with Seismic against Ostia's dictatorial leaders while also continuing to provide firearms, explosives and timely advice to the city's Slayers. But first, he would like you to gather a bit more Seismic Intel to what a bizarre aetheric reading coming from this new chain could be.

Janek Zai: "The Seismic Intel leaves little room for error. The next wave of escalation islands will be steeper in umbral energy. The signs have been there, but without your help I wouldn't have been able to piece it all together."
Janek Zai: "But we're not finished yet. Both Colonel Radomir and Arkan Drew have identified something very strange in these islands. Strange even by aetheric standards."
Janek Zai: "All the readings that are literally off the charts — Old Arkan had to draw some of his theories on the wall. So you know whatto do. Bring me that intel and let's get this figured out."

Janek Zai: "Fascinating findings, Slayer. I suspect this is definitely going to require further investigation once this new umbral island chain emerges into relatively safer skies."
Janek Zai: "Simply put, there's a, well, impossibility on one of those islands. A source of umbral aether that- and I know this sounds mad- contains more energy than the entire known world."
Janek Zai: "But that will be a matter for later. Right now, the Seismic Intel has told us what we must do now to prepare. Let us not waste the opportunity."
