Dialogue[edit | edit source]

(Mission start)

Xelya the Farslayer: "Arbourhome isn't Arbourhome anymore. Swamps and fungus and rot everywhere. It's a blight. The spores did this. Growing on everything. Into everything. Growing tall, growing small. Behemoths. Trees. Islands. Farslayers. It stinks."

(Halfway defeating Sporestruck Charrogg)

Xelya the Farslayer: "This is it. Gonna show the Arbourhome refugees hope's not lost. It floats. Like islands. Just gotta grab it before it goes away."

(Defeated Sporestruck Charrogg)

Xelya the Farslayer: "Yeah, take that, spore-sucker! By the way don't get any spores in your eyes. Did I mention that?"

(Mission complete)

Additional Dialogue[edit | edit source]

Xelya the Farslayer: "Do you smell feet. I smell feet. This whole place smells like feet now. And old bread."

Xelya the Farslayer: "Agarus is bad. But so are the Sporestruck. Might look familiar, but don't feed the same. Don't fight the same’ but they'll die the same."

Xelya the Farslayer: "Watch your back out there Slayer. Barely recognize this place anymore. Be ready for anything."

Xelya the Farslayer: "Sure. It's pretty here. Looks nice. Full of life. Plants. Lots and lots of green. But the plants are toxic, the green's a swamp, and everything living here wants you dead."

Xelya the Farslayer: "Wish I could go with you. I mean, I could. But I can't. Not now that I have... responsibility. The Arbourhome refugees are counting on me. And I'm counting on you. And I don't like to count so don't take long."

Description[edit | edit source]

Ramsgate's resident alchemist Granny Strega will be joining you for a voyage to the Arbourhome Blight. She's interested in some unique spores found there and the new tonic recipes she might be able to create with them—but don't expect to get through this mission without a fight.

Objectives[edit | edit source]

You must around the Arbourhome archipelagos and collect as many of the Agaric Spores as you can within 3 minutes! Be sure to deliver all your Agaric Spores to Granny Strega within 3 minutes for a buff! The number of Agaric Spores delivered by your team will determine how strong Granny Strega's buff will be. Completing this mission finishes the quest Spore Problems.

Dialogue[edit | edit source]

(Mission start)

Granny Strega: "That's what we're looking for. Agaric spores! You'll find 'em all over the place in the Arbourhome Blight, turning everything from critters to Behemoths into twisted terra abominations. But just think of the alchemical potential!"

(Timer halfway finished or fall off the map)

Granny Strega: "Did you fall off the island, precious? If not, you'd better get back here with those spores, time's a-wasting!"

(Bad haul of Agaric Spores)

Granny Strega: "Oh, not a bad haul, sweetie! Not great, either, but y'know, it'll do."

(Decent haul of Agaric Spores)

Granny Strega: "Now this is good, dearie. I can definitely work with spores like this."

(Great haul of Agaric Spores)

Granny Strega: "Oh my stars and garters! You have been busy, haven't you? And they're just fat with terra, these spores. A lady can tell."

(Sporestruck Embermane spawns)

Granny Strega: "Did you head that? Something big's out there, dearie. Don't dawdle, now. I don't plan to be around when it shows up!"

(Defeated Sporestruck Embermane)

Granny Strega: "You're alive? Which is completely expected! Well done, sweetie."

(Mission complete)

Additional Dialogue[edit | edit source]

Granny Strega: "They call this place a "Blight," but I think it's actually quite pretty, don't you? Don't stand around gawking, though. Spite particles might get into your eyes!"

Granny Strega: "This island reminds me of the place my third husband and I spent our honeymoon. I did tell him not to eat those mushrooms...."

Granny Strega: "Don't worry about me, sweetie. Granny'll be safe here at the ol' "El-Zee." That's we called 'em back in the day."

Granny Strega: "The spores around here won't hurt us. You've got aetheric armour and I've got... protection. No, it's the things that the spores attack to that will kill you!"

Granny Strega: "Agaric spores can't just be thrown into a satchel or sealed into a barrel for transport. You have to treat 'em carefully give 'em a steady supply of terra-based plant food, or they'll wither before we get back to Ramsgate."
