Markus Boehr: "It's time you met an old pirate friend of mine. That's right, I know a few bold Corsair captains-but Lady Luck is the boldest by far! These days she says she's gone "legit" by staging Behemoth battles on her Island of Trials. But back when I crewed with her for a while, she swore she'd never settle down."
Markus Boehr: "But time makes liars of us all, and she didn't start out all that honest in the first place. Why not go pay her call? I reckin these Trials are going to turn out to be some pretty good training, when you're ready.."

Lady Luck: "Another Slayer, my good eye tells me. They call me Lady Luck—and you must be keen to battle the strangest and strongest of Behemoths on my Island of Trials! How is my dear old friend Markus? I really do love those little scarves of his."
Lady Luck: "But that's not why you're here, is it? You want to know about my Island of Trials. And aye, my isle is the perfect battleground for Slayers to compete and display their skill."
