A cell is an item placed in the socket of a Weapon, Armour or Lantern to provide a Perk - a bonus based on the cell's rarity.
Acquire or Trade Cells
Cells are acquired by opening cores. Cores can be obtained as rewards from Mastery, from Hunt Pass progression or as a rare drop from a behemoth. The Middleman will swap unwanted cells for new ones, or buy and sell cells for aetherdust and platinum.
